Destination Justice and the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia (BAKC) renew their partnership for two years (2015-2016). While the first MoU was focused on Legal Education and the assistance to the Lawyer Training Centre, the extension adds a research and strategy component to assist the BAKC to develop its own solutions in regard to legal aid and continuing legal education. The signing of the MoU recognise the importance of role of the lawyers and the commitment of the BAKC to promote rule of law and reduce inequalities.
The 13th of December 2013 marks the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Destination Justice and the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The MoU aims to improve legal training in Cambodia by fostering greater cooperation in the design and provision of legal training courses to Cambodian lawyers. The budding relationship will give greater efficacy to Destination Justice’s Legal Education Assistance Program by reinforcing our commitment to provide practical, skills-based training to legal professionals.
