Uphold the indivisibility and interdependence of human rights

We believe that human rights are indivisible and interdependent. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance for Destination Justice.  Besides being among our professional duties as lawyers, we are acutely aware of the sensitivity of human rights issues and take all precautions to safeguard information related to our most sensitive cases.

Strengthen results through collaboration

ABA Center for Human RightsWith our extensive network of partners and professionals, Destination Justice is able to contact and engage individuals and organisations on an ad hoc basis whenever a case could benefit from the deployment of rapid resources or expertise outside our core focus.  Our collaborations and constant sharing with other organisations, including our partnership with the American Bar Association Center for Human Rights, helps us to grow professionally and represents an additional guarantee of excellence for our clients.

International human rights litigation

Protecting human rights is at the very heart of our mission.  Drawing on our experiences advocating before various international bodies and working with a range of human rights organisations from global to local level, Destination Justice is skilled at assisting clients in international human rights litigation.  Our work has included preparing legal documents for submission to international and regional bodies to raise awareness of human rights violations and devising litigation strategies for international human rights cases.  We also have expertise on a wide range of human rights issues and geographic regions.

International criminal litigation

We believe that there should never be impunity for international crimes.  We are strongly committed to achieving justice through supporting and applying international criminal law.  Destination Justice is adept at litigation in the field of international criminal law and related fields, particularly international humanitarian law and international human rights law.  Many of our team have worked in the international/hybrid criminal courts, while our activities as an organisation have involved assisting and advising international/hybrid criminal tribunal teams on issues related to fair trial rights, training investigators of possible war crimes, and developing a reference tool on international criminal procedure.
